Dr Earth Home Grown Tomato, Vegetable & Herb Fertilizer with Prebiotic and ProMoisture Hydrate is formulated to feed plants gently to promote robust and productive vegetable gardens. Prebiotics (soluble sugars) provide the existing soil microbes with food and energy to multiply more quickly. ProMoisture Hydrate (Aloe Vera) concentrate assists in the hydration of biotics in the soil by coating them with a patent pending slimy layer to enhance microbial hydration. Home Grown is great for all types of vegetable garden, both summer and winter, rooting and flowering gardens.
People & Pet Safe: The Dr. Earth Pledge
Please see the Dr Earth Pledge on the front label under “People & Pet Safe.” This product is considered people and pet safe because they do not use ingredients such as biosolids, chicken manure, composted household waste, or synthetic chemicals which can bring additional health risks to your garden. We will never use any ingredients that might cheapen the integrity of our products.
Directions for Mixing: Shake well before each use. Use 4 tablespoons (2 OZ) per gallon of pure water. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to completely dissolve all ingredients into a liquid water solution.
Application Rates: Once you have diluted the concentrate, you may either use it as a foliar spray or apply directly to the soil around the base of plants, feeding at a rate of 2 cups for small plants or 4 cups for larger plants. Apply every 2 weeks for maximum results. Easy to use in hose and sprayers. Pour Home Grown concentrate directly into the canister, set the dial to 4 tbsp and simply spray your entire outdoor garden. Make sure to spray branches and the underside of leaves until the plants are dripping. Note: please spray early in the morning or after 4 pm to avoid any leaf burning.
